Wentworth Community Housing acquired this site to deliver social and affordable housing in western Sydney. Our engagement involved full service project management including design management, Council approval, Construction Certificate, builder procurement, contract administration and construction supervision. The project consisted of 49 apartments with basement parking and 2 passenger lifts. We managed the design so that the project could be delivered in a staged manner or as a single project. This gave the client flexibility regarding funding and cashflow.
Design was prepared based on draft Planning Controls and the development application was submitted the following day after the LEP was gazetted by Government. DA Approval was achieved within 3 months of submission to Council and less than 6 months after our initial engagement. The project delivery required expediting due to grant funding conditions from Government. Impact Group successfully accelerated the project to meet the programme expectations.
