August Highlights

Project progress, industry insights and team updates from Impact Group.

It’s been a great month for the Impact Group team, with plenty happening across our projects and within our wider industry network.

From progressing key developments and supporting complex remedial works to celebrating connections across the property and construction sectors, we’ve continued to work closely with our clients, project partners and communities to deliver positive outcomes.

Here’s a look at some of the highlights from the past month.

Industry Events

Women in Leadership – Celebrating connection and leadership

On 26 August, the team attended the Women’s Leadership Lunch, bringing together women from across the property and construction sectors.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate women in leadership, hear from industry voices and connect with peers.

Project Update

Remedial Works: Supporting Australian Advocacy

The Australian Apartment Advocacy is an organisation we’re proud to sponsor as the NSW Remedial Project Management Partner for 2026. Remedial building projects are rarely just about fixing a building. They’re about having the right team around you.

Across Australia, Owners Corporations are increasingly facing complex remedial projects – from concrete cancer and waterproofing failures to façade issues, structural defects and major maintenance works.

These projects can be overwhelming. There are technical reports to understand, consultants and contractors to coordinate, budgets to manage, approvals to obtain and, importantly, residents and owners to keep informed throughout the process.

That’s where having the right team makes all the difference.

Project Update

Lane Cove Breaks Ground

$150M development gets underway

Construction has officially started on the Finrose Lane Cove development, delivering 48 new homes alongside upgraded ministry and community facilities.

Impact Group has been appointed as the Independent Certifier, providing independent oversight and certification throughout construction.

The project is also a great example of what can be achieved when developers, churches and community organisations work together to unlock underutilised land and create new housing opportunities.

Project Update

Palmaria Apartments | Neutral Bay

A perfect day on Sydney Harbour and a great opportunity to check in on progress at Palmaria Apartments, Neutral Bay.

Construction is progressing strongly, with the final stages of excavation almost complete and seawall restoration works underway. Once complete, the project will deliver six premium apartments designed to take full advantage of the stunning harbour outlook.

Impact Group is pleased to be working alongside First Land Corporation and Reform Group on this outstanding development.

We are excited to see the project continue to take shape over the coming months.
