The owners of Strata Plan 1233 were served a Fire Safety Order by the City of Sydney Council, requiring mandatory fire safety upgrades to the 28 apartment residential flat building, which includes three ground-floor shopfronts and a basement. During the fire safety upgrade works, the owners also decided to refurbish the building’s front entry and common areas.
Impact Group was engaged to provide project management services to ensure compliance with the mandatory completion deadline, following three years of stalled site progress. Impact Group successfully managed the tendering process, oversaw the compliance upgrades and refurbishment works, and implemented several Fire Engineering Performance Solutions. These measures allowed the project to be completed on time and under budget.
