This project is a 7-storey building that consists of 61 residential apartments, retail space and a multi-level basement carpark. It had previously achieved Development Consent from Council and we were engaged to develop the design for the Construction Certificate and tender documentation. The project progressed through an intense value management exercise until final execution of a ‘Design and Construct’ Building Contract.
We acted as the client’s representative throughout the development of the design. We were also responsible for managing a number of legal matters including the ‘Voluntary Planning Agreement’ with Council, RMS Approval and extinguishment of neighbouring easements. It was a complicated site with a number of neighbouring developments being completed simultaneously that necessitated our strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
