This project consists of six luxury apartments, with commercial space on the ground floor and basement parking. Impact Group was engaged as the Project Manager and Superintendent. The project was delivered under a ‘Design and Construct’ building contract.
Impact Group was engaged following achievement of the Development Consent from Council. Impact Group developed the design for the Construction Certificate and tender documentation, managed the tender procurement and assisted the client in negotiating and executing the building contract. We then managed the construction period in our role as Superintendent.
The project faced many challenges most notably navigating the turbulent construction period through the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of the new Design and Building Practioners Act.
