This project is a 20-storey building consisting of 78 residential apartments, plus retail space at ground level to create street activation. The project structure posed a number of challenges including a very tall, slender tower and being located in a mine subsidence area. An early works package was initially prepared in order to reduce groundworks risk to the main building contract due to soil remediation, works relating to mine subsidence, archaeological significance of the land and significant augmentation of external services infrastructure requirements to support the development.
Impact Group was engaged to identify the delivery strategy, assist with the sales and marketing campaign, co-ordinate preparation of the construction drawings, procure the contractors for each stage and administer the construction contracts. All the design and construction works were managed under the Design and Building Practitioners Act.
