Impact Group were engaged as Project Manager and Superintendent for the Construction & DLP Phase of 51 apartments over two buildings and a basement.
At the critical stage of 90% project completion, the head contractor went into administration. As a significant and challenging situation, disrupting the project timeline and potentially adding to additional costs, Impact Group contacted all incumbent subcontractors and consultants who were working on the project to piece together and confirm the project cost to complete. This proactive step also enabled a line of communication to ensure all parties were always informed with the projects next steps as we navigated through the administration process so that works could promptly recommence.
Fostering the relationships, Impact Group successfully negotiated novation agreements and were effective in getting all subcontractors back to the complete their works enabling greater ease with the Occupation Certificate as well as maintaining trade and product warranties.
