September at Impact Group

People, Partnerships & Projects

September brought opportunities to celebrate the people and partnerships behind our work at Impact Group.

From marking 20 years of Wayne and Gerry working together to bringing developers and consultants around the table, the month highlighted the value of shared experience and strong relationships. We also celebrated our September birthdays and reflected on the recognition received by Airds Seniors Housing, a project that demonstrates the importance of delivering quality homes for our communities.

Wayne & Gerry: 20 Years of Working Together

This September, we celebrated 20 years of Wayne Golledge and Gerard “Gerry” Sleiman working together.

Over two decades, their working relationship has helped shape Impact Group’s approach to project delivery, client service and team leadership. Built on trust, complementary expertise and a shared commitment to delivering on our clients’ expectations, it continues to underpin the business today.

Gerry joined Impact Group as an Assistant Project Manager in 2006 and has grown into a key member of our leadership team. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees day-to-day client delivery, operational quality and risk management, while remaining a hands-on adviser to our clients. His technical knowledge and ability to resolve complex project issues have earned the respect of colleagues and project partners alike.

Together, Wayne and Gerry bring experience, continuity and practical leadership to the Impact Group team, helping us navigate challenges and deliver positive outcomes across our projects.

Support Across Every Stage of Your Project

Property development involves a series of connected decisions, from establishing a project’s direction through to managing construction and completion.

Impact Group supports clients across that journey, bringing together development management, project management, superintendency and advisory expertise. Our role is to help clients understand their options, coordinate the right people and maintain a clear focus on time, cost and quality.

Whether a client needs early advice, support through approvals or oversight during construction, we tailor our involvement to the project’s needs. This connected approach helps identify risks, resolve issues and keep delivery moving forward.

Our Developers Lunch: Bringing Expertise Together

Our September Developers Lunch brought developers and consultant partners together to connect, exchange perspectives and consider the challenges shaping project delivery.

Co-hosting these lunches with key consultants creates an opportunity to combine our expertise and explore practical solutions to the issues developers face day to day.

The value lies in bringing different disciplines around the same table. Understanding how others approach a challenge can help us ask better questions, identify opportunities earlier and make more informed decisions on future projects.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation. We look forward to continuing these discussions and putting our collective experience to work across upcoming developments.

Celebrating Our September Birthdays

The team also came together to celebrate our September birthdays: Travis, Swati, Bayan, David and Wayne, along with Emma, who wasn’t able to join us on the day.

It was a lovely opportunity to take a break from busy project schedules and celebrate the people who contribute so much to Impact Group.

Happy birthday to all our September celebrants!

Project Spotlight: Airds Seniors Housing

Airds Seniors Housing has received multiple award recognitions, including Excellence in Ageing in Place and Excellence in Affordable Housing at the 2026 NSW Apartment Awards. Congratulations to Homes NSW, ThomsonAdsett, Mono Constructions and everyone involved in the project.

This recognition highlights the importance of thoughtful housing that supports independence, dignity and connection for older residents.

For Impact Group, continuing to support the social and affordable housing sector remains an important part of our work. These projects deliver much-needed homes and require a clear understanding of both project requirements and the people they will serve.

We’re proud to contribute to developments that create lasting value for residents and communities, and we look forward to continuing this work alongside our clients and project partners.
